Who this course is for
- If it is the same thing again in your relationship — arguments that follow one script, growing distance, the feeling of going in circles.
- If you want to understand yourself rather than remake your partner — you are tired of blaming the other person.
- If it is hard to talk about feelings — you either stay silent or explode, and the words for what matters are missing.
- If you want closeness, but it is frightening to open up, to trust, to ask.
What will change after the course
- You will see yourself from the outside — what you do in a relationship when it hurts, when you are afraid or offended.
- You will find the words to talk about what matters without a row — to ask, to say no, to say thank you.
- Careful responses — instead of the usual defence, a pause, 1% more honesty, real contact.
- You will understand your own scripts — where “I’ll manage alone”, “I say nothing”, “I rescue” came from — and how to choose differently.
Programme · 6 meetings — 6 themes about you and your relationships
Each meeting is one theme from life and one suit of cards. Without judgement: you live it through, notice it, try something new. For yourself, not to tick a box. 30% conversation · 70% play and practice · 4 academic hours per meeting.
01AttentionWhere am I when you are next to me? · 45 cards4 ac. h.
Noticing how you slip out of contact: into your phone, into your thoughts, into silence. And how to come back. Being present, noticing, hearing.
- Why we stop hearing the people closest to us.
- 3 modes of attention: absent, half-there, truly there.
- How inattention turns into resentment and distance.
- Freeze frame: what is happening in me right now, with this card in front of me.
- Observing yourself and the other person without judgement.
- Living the cards through: “You are not being listened to”, “Distracted by the phone”.
A pause instead of an automatic reaction. Being able to notice yourself and say: “I am not with you right now, I need 2 minutes.”
Between meetings: an attention diary — three days of noticing when you are truly present and when you are not. Small steps that really do change your responses.
02TrustIt is frightening to open up, but you want closeness. · 48 cards4 ac. h.
Honesty, boundaries and inner footing — where it is already safe to trust, and where it is not yet.
03ResponsibilityWhat am I actually choosing? · 50 cards4 ac. h.
My choice, my actions — separating what I choose from what the script dictates.
04SupportAsking is not shameful. Accepting is allowed. · 52 cards4 ac. h.
Requests, care and warmth — how to ask and how to accept without guilt.
05RespectI matter. You matter. We are different. · 47 cards4 ac. h.
Worth, dignity and difference — staying yourself while respecting the otherness of the other person.
06Shared viewsAre we really going the same way together? · 58 cards + the Joker4 ac. h.
Dreams, goals and agreements — and the final game, which brings all six themes together.
The course ends with a big 90-minute game covering all 6 themes: a personal transformation rather than an exam. You take home your diary of observations and your favourite cards with the new phrases you have written on them. And the Joker — the moment of importance: when it comes up, it cannot be put off, you have to choose here and now.

Frequently asked questions about the course
Do I need any preparation?
No. You do not have to be a psychologist. You need to want to understand yourself and to make your relationships more alive — in a couple, in a family, with friends and at work.
How does the game work?
You roll the dice → you land in a situation from life → you answer as you usually would → you notice your habitual reaction → you try a new way right there in the game. Nobody teaches you how to do it correctly: you see for yourself what is happening. 300 situations from real life, where every card is a trigger you have already lived through.
An example from the game. The card shows a situation: a child asks for more time on computer games. The father says yes, while the mother thinks enough time has been spent at the computer today and it is time for some fresh air. The task — what will you say to each of them so that no conflict arises? Then you choose three people from the group and play that conversation through with each of them.
Can I come alone, as a couple or with friends?
Any of those. For yourself — come alone, you play with the other participants and learn about yourself. For a couple — come together: you will see your couple’s scripts and make new agreements. For a group of friends — bring your own 4–6 people: a warm game instead of small talk.
How long is the course and at what pace does it run?
6 meetings of 4 academic hours — 24 academic hours in total. 1 meeting = 1 theme, and between meetings there are small practices in daily life. Each meeting is 30% conversation and 70% play and practice. The schedule is to be confirmed.
Online or in person? In which language?
Online or in person — in Latvian, Russian or English. We choose the format together at the free introductory conversation.
Will there be lectures and right answers?
No. No lectures and no clever advice, no right answers and no marking — you live it through, you notice, you try something new. A format for life, not for a certificate.
Would you like to join the course?
Tell me about your situation — together we will choose the format (for yourself, for a couple or for a group of friends) and start with a free introductory conversation.
