Privacy policy

This page explains what data the RISA website receives, why, how long it is kept and how you can see it or have it deleted. In plain language rather than legal jargon.

Who is responsible for your data

The controller is Jekaterina Risa (a self-employed person). For any question about data, write to risajekaterina@gmail.com or call +371 29984373.

The website is maintained technically by SIA “Zetta Digital”, which processes data only as far as is needed to keep the site running.

What we receive and why

Enquiry and question forms. You decide what to put in: your name, e-mail, phone, and your question or a description of your situation; the business forms also ask for the organisation, your role and the number of participants. We use this only to reply to you.

Booking a conversation. If you book a time in the calendar, the booking system receives your name, e-mail and the time you chose.

Server logs. As with any website, the server briefly keeps a technical record of requests (IP address, browser type). This is needed for security and for keeping the site running.

One request: please do not write diagnoses, medical history or other particularly sensitive information into the form. That belongs in the conversation itself, not in a web form.

On what basis

Forms and bookings — to take steps at your own request towards agreeing a service (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).

Server logs — on the legitimate interest of keeping the website secure and working (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).

Who else sees this data

The website is hosted on a cloud platform, and that same platform receives and stores form submissions. Bookings are handled by a separate booking system. Both are technical service providers that process the data only on our instructions.

Some of these services are located outside the European Union. We provide the current list of providers on request.

Data is never sold, never passed to advertisers and never used for profiling.

How long we keep it

We keep correspondence about your enquiry for as long as it takes to answer it and finish the conversation; once the conversation has ended and there is no follow-up, we delete it. Copies of submissions held on the website platform are deleted within 30 days — they exist only as a backup in case the notification about a submission did not arrive.

Server logs are kept by the platform for a short time, for technical purposes.

Cookies and what is stored in your browser

We set no cookies of our own. The site uses no Google Analytics and no other statistics or advertising tracking.

One technical timestamp is stored in your browser so that the intro animation does not play every time. It contains no personal data.

Fonts are served from the website's own server, so your visit is not disclosed to a font service.

The booking calendar loads only when you press the button to choose a time. Until then the booking service knows nothing about your visit. After loading, it may use its own cookies.

Your rights

You have the right to: receive a copy of your data; correct anything inaccurate; ask for it to be deleted; restrict or object to the processing; and receive your data in a portable format.

To use these rights, write to risajekaterina@gmail.com. We reply within one month.

If you believe your data has been handled incorrectly, you may contact the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (dvi.gov.lv).

Changes

If the way we handle data changes, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
